1,Preparation

【Ingredients:18picees of Takoyaki】
■Batter
 ・100g Takoyaki flour
 ・300ml water
 ・1 egg
■サラダ油 少々
■Filings
 ・80g octopus(diced)
 ・Tempura flacks
 ・Green onions
 ・Red pickled ginger
■Topping
・Takoyaki sauce
・Mayonnaise
・Aonori(seaweed powder)
・Katsuobushi(dried bonito flakes)

【STEP1】Start by making the batter with the ingredient listed. In a large bowl, mix well 1 egg and 300ml of water. Then add 100g of Takoyaki flour in several times to avoid making lumps.

2,Instruction

【STEP2】 Heat up Takoyaki pan. Once it has been achieved, add a sufficient amount of oil to each hole to prevent Sticking.

【STEP3】 Pour the mixture to fill each hole of Takoyaki pan and place a piece of octopus. Add the green onions, red pickled gingers and dried shrimps on the mixture.(the amount you add is up to you) You can even overflow the batter out of the hole to Make it easier to flip them over later.

【STEP4】

【STEP5】 Once Takoyaki are about half cooked, Turn all the Takoyaki over with using a long stick.(Push in the batter which is overflowed from the round hall) Cook for a little longer to make the outside of them crispy.

【STEP6】 Place cooked Takoyaki on a plate, and and put Takoyaki sauce, Japanese mayonnaise, Then sprinkle a bit of seaweed powder and some bonito flakes on them.

If you like, try putting different toppings such as soy souse and ketchup.

Since it is included in Tempura flour, we recommend putting soy sauce or Mentsuyu(noodle soup base)on Takoyaki.
